It has been some time since we have had a child's pressed back high chair in the shop, and this is a beauty. This chair is solid maple and has a well-defined deep pressed design and a spindle back as well as spindles under the arms. The pressing depicts cheerful flowers cascading across the back between the turned side posts. The seat is a pressed cane and the food tray has an oak insert for sturdiness. The tray locks in place for safety and there is a solid foot rest below, another nice safety feature. This high chair has 3 different settings, one for table height, a lower one for convenience of hand feeding and one that lowers to the floor so that the original metal wheels can be activated and the chair becomes a walker.
