This pair of walnut Eastlake style chairs, circa 1880, are beautifully restored and upholstered in a high quality stripped fabric that has a slight sheen to the texture. The multi colors in the fabric make these chairs easy to incorporate into many color schemes, and the fabric also gives these early chairs a facelift for today's less somber lifestyle. The chair backs are tufted, as they originally were, and have the original springs in the seats that have been re-tied and wrapped in a puffy fabric for cleanliness and comfort. The chairs are very comfortable and completely sturdy. These chairs are the ball & stick style that was so popular in Victorian times, and they have a decorative burled overlay design on the back.
