Here is a nice example of the popular Victorian swooning couch, circa 1850. This early piece has been totally restored and updated with a high quality floral pattern fabric in mauve, green and gold tones on a beige background. We even have a matching throw pillow as a nice finishing touch. The rolled top section of this piece has some nice incised carving on the sturdy walnut frame, and the cascading back is also surrounded in solid walnut. This chaise has the original dainty porcelain castors that can be removed should the buyer opt to do so. This is a wonderful early Victorian chaise in pristine condition that will not last, so contact us soon if you have interest.
