If Victorian is your style, take a look here at this exquisite walnut marble top 3 piece bedroom suite, circa 1860-1870. This gorgeous suite is in pristine original condition and has wonderful patina. The marble tops are perfect with no chips or cracks and all of the fabulous carving is in tact. This is a Renaissance Revival Victorian style in solid walnut wood with birdseye maple overlay on the raised angular trim portions. The top section of the bed and the dressing mirror is arched and has detailed raised carving. The 3-drawer dresser has covered hankie boxes on top and candle stands on the side of the mirror. This dresser also has the hidden bottom slipper drawer that was so popular in the Victorian era. Inside the top drawer of the dresser are 2 covered compartments for storage of jewelry and valuables. The commode is a 1 drawer, 2 door style and the majestic bed has a curved footboard with incised carving on the ends and the massive sleigh bed style rails are especially sturdy and hook securely into the headboard & footboard. The bed measures 54" X 74" inside the rails and will accept a full size box spring and mattress. This is a beautiful and complete bedroom suite in excellent condition.
