The Brass Desk Lamp shown here is by Parker Pen Company and dates back to the 1920s. There is a small hinged door on the base which perhaps housed an ink well at one time. It has a reeded brass column leading up to the double lighting socket and a brass finial. Although we have listed this as a desk lamp, it can be used for lighting of any kind in a parlor or kitchen.
